Honeywell North 5400,7600, RU6500 Series Instruction Manual

3. Reassemble your facepiece after following all steps outlined on the printed manual in the INSPECTION section. Use the REPLACEMENT PARTS schematic at the end of the mentioned User Instructions or on the Honeywell Facepiece Replacement Part Poster. a. Inspect all components as they are being assembled. Replace any that are damaged or missing. Place the grommet (P/N 80871A) in the lens, making sure that the larger flange is on the inside and the inner and outer flanges lie flat against the lens. b. Put one set of inhalation valves (P/N 770017) on the cartridge connectors (P/N 770016), making sure they lie flat against the connectors. c. Insert the cartridge connectors by pushing through the grommets from the inside of the facepiece. Make sure the connectors are all the way through and lying flat against the flanges. d. Insert the exhalation valve into the exhalation valve seat, (P/N 54007), so the stem is showing on the side with the P/N information. Pull gently on the tab until you hear a low click as the valve locks in place. e. Make sure the flat black O-ring on the exhalation valve is in place and lying flat. Insert the assembly into the exhalation port. Note that the port is uniquely keyed so there is only one way to insert the exhalation assembly. Turn clockwise 45 degrees until it locks into place. f. Snap the exhalation valve cover (P/N 54008) onto the assembly so the Honeywell logo is right side up. Note that there are two slots at 3 and 9 o’clock that fit over the two wings on the assembly. g. Put the remaining inhalation valves (P/N 770017) on the valve seats (P/N 80814A) for the oral/nasal cup, making sure they lie flat against the seats. Insert the seat and inhalation valve assembly into the oral/nasal cup. h. Work the oral/nasal cup onto the groove of the exhalation housing that is furthest from the lens. i.
