Kingsmill™ fabric guarantees high performance and maximum comfort. The material is fully pre-shrunk, has superior dye retention and all the attributes you would expect from a modern workwear fabric (65% Polyester/35% Cotton).

Bizflame™ is a proprietary flame resistant finish which, when applied to fabric, gives excellent flame resistance. All of the Bizflame fabrics use the highest quality raw materials, ensuring the perfect balance of comfort and strength. Carbon fibre woven through the fabric gives permanent anti static protection.

100% Cotton Drill is comfortable and absorbent. This is suitable for both domestic & high temperature laundering.

Made with 300 Denier 100% Polyester yarns, 300D fabric has superb abrasion and tear resistance. The polyurethane (PU) coating on the inside makes the fabric durable and waterproof and the outer has a water and stain repellent coating which helps keep the fabric clean.

Modaflame™ is an inherently permanent flame resistant fabric. This special blend combines 60% modacrylic fibre with 39% cotton and 1% carbon fibre. Modaflame is extremely comfortable, hardwearing and offers full anti static protection.

100% Cotton Drill is comfortable and absorbent. This is suitable for both domestic & high temperature laundering.

Micro mesh Bird eye high visibility fabric is constructed to keep wearers cool, comfortable and visible in even the warmest environments. Providing the wearer with a minimum UPF of 35+ protection the fabric has advanced cooling properties which combined with its breathability make it the ideal choice for warmer climates. Durable, wrinkle resistant with a quick dry quality finish this fabric will stay strong wash after wash.

Cotton Comfort is constructed from a blend of 55% cotton/45% polyester. With the cotton on the inside for comfort and the polyester on the outside for maximum durability this is a robust fabric that provides ultimate comfort. Certified to EN ISO 20471, AS/NZS 1906.4 and ANSI/ ISEA 107.

FLAME-RESISTANT BIZ WELD ™

Stretch is a premium cotton stretch fabric. A blend of 98% cotton and 2% elastane provides the ultimate in comfort and flexibility.

PrimeTech FR clothing, exclusive to Prime Mover, offers powerful flame resistant protection in 100% cotton fabrics. PrimeTech FR clothing will keep the wearer cool and comfortable whilst offering outstanding protection from heat and flame. PrimeTech FLAME RESISTANT Bizweld™ 100% cotton fabric is completely flame resistant. All Bizweld garments offer excellent flame and molten splash protection for welding, foundries and allied industries.

Vestport™ fabric is constructed from 100% polyester warp knitted fabric. This fabric is lightweight, comfortable and highly breathable. Certified to EN ISO 20471, AS/NZS 1906.4

Consists of a polypropylene substrate to which a laminated microporous polyethlene film is applied (PP/PE). The outer layer of BizTex™ fabric prevents passage of liquid molecules inwards yet permits the vapour molecules that build up inside to pass out.

EUROPEAN STANDARDS Standards Explained: General Workwear and High Visibility Garments

High Visibility Workwear Meets Relevant Australian and New Zealand Standards, AS/NZS 4602.1 for High Visibility Safety Garments The AS/NZS 4602.1 Standard specifies the visual requirements for high visibility safety garments for occupational wear by people who may be exposed to the hazard of moving traffic, moving plant or equipment in high risk situations. The Standard covers garments suitable for daytime wear, night-time wear where they will be seen by retroreflected light or for wear under both conditions but excludes garments for use by fire services. The garments specified in this Standard are classified as follows: Class D: A garment designed for daytime use. Class N: A garment designed for night use using retroreflected light. Class D/N: A garment designed for day and night use. Australian/New Zealand Standard AS/NZS 1906.4 Retroreflective Materials and Devices for Road Traffic Control Purposes This Standard specifies the requirements for high visibility materials and reflective tape to be used on industrial safety garments for outdoor daytime use and for use at night or in other dark conditions where the wearer needs to be highly visible. AUSTRALIAN & NEW ZEALAND STANDARDS High daytime visibility fluorescent material. Class F (W) – includes Wet Weather testing. Class R: Retroreflective material for use on garments used in dark conditions. Class RF: Combined performance retroreflective/fluorescent material meeting all of the requirements of Class R - and the daytime colour of Class F. Class NF: High daytime visibility non-fluorescent material. Temporary Traffic Management Control (TTMC-W) The New Zealand Transport Agency (NZTA) has a Code of Practice which specifies the standard of safety garment that a worker must wear while working in or close to hazardous traffic areas. The Temporary Traffic Management Control states that each garment must include a certain area of fluorescent orange fabric, and a specific belt and braces configuration of 50mm wide retro-reflective tape. Single or double hoops of retro-reflective tape must be added to the sleeves. This standard covers both the compliancy of the design and the high visibility and retro-reflective material. A whole range of garments are available to this standard including vests, rainwear, shirts and polos. AS/NZS 1957:1998 Outlines the care instructions required to ensure correct care of the garment AS/NZS 4399 Sun Protection Clothing Classification UPF (Ultraviolet Protection Factor) is the classification system used for sun protective clothing. All fabrics are independently tested according to the AS/NZS 4399 standard. UPF (Ultraviolet Protection Factor) is the classification system used for sun protective clothing. Sun protective clothing is categorized according to its rated UPF as given in table below. High-visibility materials are classified according to their day or night-time application, as follows: Class F:

EN ISO 20471 - High Visibility Clothing - Test Methods And Requirements

This International Standard specifies requirements for high visibility clothing, which is capable of visually signalling the user’s presence. The high visibility clothing is intended to provide conspicuity of the wearer in any light condition when viewed by the operators of vehicles or other mechanised equipment during daylight conditions and under illumination of headlights in the dark. High Visibility clothing has a fluorescent surface, combined with reflective material that meets certification requirements in 3 different classes:

Class 1: Minimum Level Minimum level of protection required for any persons working on a private road or to be used in conjunction with a higher classed garment. Must incorporate a minimum of 0.14m2 of background material and 0.10m2 of retro-re ective material. (2 metres of 5cm wide re ective tape) Class 2: Intermediate Level Required for any persons working on or near A and B class roads, also for delivery drivers. Must incorporate a minimum of 0.50m2 of background material and 0.13m2 of retro-re ective material. (2.60 metres of 5cm wide re ective tape) Class 3: Highest Level Highest level of protection - required for any persons working on or near motorways or dual- carriage ways or airports. Must incorporate a minimum of 0.80m2 of background material and 0.20m2 of retro-re ective materials. (4 metres of 5cm wide re ective tape)

EN343 EN 343 - Protective Clothing, Protection against Rain EN 343 is the harmonised European standard that applies to garments worn in adverse weather conditions. It specifies the characteristics of protective clothing against the influence of foul weather, wind and cool above -5°c. The standard provides for two performance parameters:X = Waterproofness (3 levels)Y = Breathable properties (3 levels)

EN342 EN 342 - Protective Clothing - Ensembles and Garments for Protection Against Cold

EN 342 is the harmonised European standard that specifies requirements and test methods for performance of clothing ensembles (ie. two piece suits or coveralls) and of single garments for protection against cold environment.

EN 14058 - Protective Clothing- Garments for Protection against Cool Environments EN 14058 defines one criterion to ensure the physiological function of protective clothing against cool environments – that is Thermal resistance (Rct). Thermal resistance represents a quantity specific to textile materials, which determines the dry heat flux passing through a textile layer in a steady state condition effected by a temperature gradient. Performance requirements for air permeability (AP), resistance to water penetration (WP) and thermal insulation are optional and measured under the same criteria as EN 342.

QUALITY TESTING The cornerstone of success is stringent quality control. Can you be sure the product you are wearing conforms to AS/NZS 4602.1? A certificate from a test house guarantees that the garment or fabric sent to the test house has attained the AS/NZS 4602.1 standard. It is not a guarantee that the bulk production meets the standard. Therefore, it is necessary that every roll of fabric and retro reflective tape is tested with highly specialised equipment which guarantees that all production meets the AS/NZS 1906.4 standard.

Specifications for the colour space and luminance (brightness) are provided in the AS/NZS 1906.4 standard.
