While a certificate from a test house confirms that a garment or fabric meets the AS/NZS 4602.1 and the EN ISO 20471 standard, it doesn't guarantee that the entire bulk production adheres to the same standard. That's why we go the extra mile at our manufacturing facilities.​ At Portwest, we subject every roll of high visibility fabric and retroreflective tape to rigorous testing using highly specialized equipment. This meticulous process ensures that all our garments not only meet but surpass the AS/NZS 4602.1 and the EN ISO 20471 standard.​ While AS/NZS 4602.1 and EN ISO 20471 specifies a minimum reading of 330 (cd/lx. m²), we hold ourselves to an even higher benchmark. We insist on a minimum reading of 400 (cd/lx.m²) plus, further enhancing the visibility and safety of our products.​ By meticulously testing each component of our garments, we guarantee that every aspect, from the fabric to the retroreflective tape, meets and exceeds the AS/NZS 4602.1 and the EN ISO 20471 standard, providing our customers with the utmost quality and peace of mind.
