ARC FLASH PROTECTION CLOTHING • FR clothing is defined as clothing that does not melt, ignite, or contribute to the injury of the wearer. • Arc rated clothing is required whenever the calculated incident energy is greater than 2.0 cal/cm 2 . • Arc rated clothing must cover the entire body with exception for hands, feet, and head protection.

Insulating Gloves are among the most important ppe for electrical workers: they are the first line of defense for contact with any energized components or lines. • Field of applications: electrical production, transportation, transformation and distribution; railways, telecommunications, construction, maintenance in the industries, photovoltaic panels, hybrid car battery, etc. • Non-supported latex insulating gloves are recommended to be worn in conjunction with a suitable leather overglove to provide mechanical protection from abrasion, cut, tear and perforation. • The natural latex glove can be supplied in beige or red color, with either rolled or cut edges, depending on user requirements.

Salisbury’s insulated rescue hook is an invaluable tool for any workplace. It is used to release a victim from contact. Confined spaces, in vaults, or just near electrical cabinets and switch gear are some of the places where this tool is a must. Insulated rescue hooks feature a foam-filled, fiberglass reinforced handle for superior electrical insulation and a coated, heat treated body hook with an 18" opening and are made in accordance with ASTM Standard F711. The stick is available in the standard lengths of 6 and 8 feet. Other lengths are available as a special order.

LEATHER PROTECTORS

• IsoArc™ - Class 0 Glove with 21.6 cal/cm 2 ARC Flash Protection is designed to be flame-resistant, and guarantees electrical insulation up to 1000 V (it is not a composite). IsoArc™ is very thin and soft, enabling electricians to perform the most precise jobs. Independent testing has shown how the external polychloroprene layer of the IsoArc™ offers very good flame resistance, so that electricians are better protected in the event of an electric arc.
