Right Laundering Procedure

The lifespan of safety gloves may shorten due to improper care that would lead to dermatitis, decreased dexterity, loss of protective abilities, and odor. Glove care refers not only to laundering, but also proper storage, routine glove checks, and knowledge of its materials. One way to determine an appropriate laundering procedure is to identify the most sensitive fibre in the safety gloves and let it serve as your guide. For example, if the work gloves contain an aramid fibre that is sensitive to bleach, the laundering process should not include bleach. If one of the HPPE fibres is sensitive to heat, water and drying temperatures become critical.

Care and Content: Our C&C tag, which indicates washing instructions and fiber content, is l ocated on the inside cuff of all our gloves or in all packaging. STEGO ® gloves can be washed using warm water and mild soap. Rinse with cold water and allow to air dry. Gloves should be stored away from direct sunlight and humidity.
