Maintaining exceptional quality is paramount to our success. While a certificate from a test house confirms that a garment or fabric meets the EN ISO 20471 standard, it doesn't guarantee that the entire bulk production adheres to the same standard. That's why we go the extra mile at our manufacturing facilities.

EVERY ROLL OF HIGH VISIBILITY FABRIC AND RETROREFLECTIVE TAPE IS RIGOROUSLY TESTED At Portwest, we subject every roll of high visibility fabric and retroreflective tape to rigorous testing using highly specialized equipment. This meticulous process ensures that all our garments not only meet but surpass the EN ISO 20471 standard. While EN ISO 20471 specifies a minimum reading of 330 (cd/lx.m²), we hold ourselves to an even higher benchmark. We insist on a minimum reading of 400 (cd/lx.m²) plus, further enhancing the visibility and safety of our products. By meticulously testing each component of our garments, we guarantee that every aspect, from the fabric to the retroreflective tape, meets and exceeds the EN ISO 20471 standard, providing our customers with the utmost quality and peace of mind.
