FLAME RESISTANT

This smooth, high performance interlock knit is made from 100% FR cotton. The fabric offers superior strength and a lightweight feel. Guaranteed flame resistance for the life of the garment ensures protection and peace of mind. Bizflame knit offers outstanding protection against electric arc with an ATPV rating of 12 Cal/cm2, this exceeds the requirements for ARC2 clothing.

Made with 300 Denier 100% polyester yarns, 300D fabric has superb abrasion and tear resistance. The polyurethane (PU) coating on the inside makes the fabric durable and waterproof and the outer has a water and stain repellent coating which helps keep the fabric clean. Cotton Comfort is constructed from a blend of 55% cotton/45% polyester. With the cotton on the inside for comfort and the polyester on the outside for maximum durability this is a robust fabric that provides ultimate comfort. Certified to EN20471.

Araflame™ is an inherently, flame resistant, lightweight fabric constructed from an aramid blend. Araflame will not ignite, melt or shrink when exposed to heat.

Modaflame™ has been designed and developed to provide flame, welding, electric arc and anti static protection. It is constructed from 60% modacrylic, 39% cotton and 1% carbon fibre. Constructed from 66% Modacrylic, 32% Polyester and 2% Carbon Fibre, 220g. Modaflame HVO Knit provides inherent flame resistance and anti static protection. The high performance fibres are blended without any chemical treatment giving Modaflame HVO Knit it’s unparalleled soft, natural touch and appearance.

Kingsmill Polycotton Canvas is constructed using 65% Polyester, 35% Cotton Canvas 280g with a Peach Finish. This blend offers the ultimate in durability and performance. The fabric finish gives the garments an ultra-soft handle for all day exceptional comfort. Portwest’s innovative two way Kingsmill™ Polycotton Stretch fabric is constructed from 65% polyester, 35% cotton. This premium workwear fabric offers excellent abrasion and tear resistant properties whilst the mechanical stretch function ensures full ease of movement for the wearer. A UPF rating of 50+ on this fabric blocks 98% of the UV rays. Kingsmill™ Cotton Stretch is a premium cotton stretch fabric. This twill weave blend of 98% cotton and 2% elastane provides the ultimate in comfort and flexibility. The high cotton content gives an ultra soft handle, and the added elastane delivers ease of movement. This fabric has a UPF rating of 50+ to block 98% of UV rays. Portwest’s cutting edge Kingsmill™ Polyester Stretch is a four-way stretch fabric made from 93% polyester, 7% elastane 270g. This blend provides ease of movement and effortless comfort in active use. The fabric delivers technical superiority with high breathability, moisture wicking and fast drying properties. A UPF rating of 50+ will block 98% of the UV rays.

This durable, stretchable fabric is tear resistant, anti-fungal, oil, fat, diesel and grease resistant and can be easily wiped clean. All garments are finished with high frequency welded seams ensuring maximum water-resistance. Portwest Extreme™ is a premium high performance rainwear fabric constructed from 100% Polyester, 300D Stretch Oxford 200g and offers superior comfort, function and endurance in all weather conditions. Waterproof, breathable and windproof to the highest standards, this fabric far exceeds the requirements of EN343 Class 3:3.

Bizflame™ Plus has been developed and designed to

produce a highly innovative flame resistant fabric with added anti- static properties.

Bizflame Multi has been designed and developed to provide flame, welding, anti-static and chemical protection. The fabric is constructed with 99% cotton and 1% carbon fibre. Bizflame Rain is specially developed to give full protection against flame & anti-static hazard and also gives the added benefits of high visibility & foul weather protection. Bizflame Pro has been developed to provide full protection against the dangers of welding, flame & static electricity. It is constructed from 99% cotton, 1% carbon fibre, twill weave. Bizflame Ultra is blended from 80% cotton, 19% FR polyester and 1% carbon fibre, 340g. The FR polyester content in Bizflame Ultra provides excellent abrasion, shrinkage and colour fastness. This fabric is tough enough to withstand the rigours of industrial laundry making it ideal for the off shore industry.

Sealtex™ Flame is a flame & chemical resistant, PU coated, polyester fabric. It is flexible & lightweight.

Sealtex Ultra is a highly breathable, high technology, PU coated fabric, on a flexible 100% Polyester Tricot knit, 185g. Sealtex Ultra meets high visibility standard EN ISO 20471.
