NEW AUTOMATED WAREHOUSE POWERED BY SOLAR PORTWEST HAS INVESTED IN AN EXTENSIVE NETWORK OF STATE OF THE ART WAREHOUSING FACILITIES, ACROSS THE GLOBE. All of our newer warehouses rely on solar energy, typically through rooftop photovoltaic (PV) panels, to generate electricity for our operations. Using solar panels helps to reduce or eliminate our reliance on grid electricity, and helps us reduce carbon footprint and greenhouse gas emissions, contributing towards our corporate social responsibility (CSR) goals and sustainability targets.

IN 2024, A ROBOTIC PICKING SYSTEMS WAS INTRODUCED INTO OUR UK WAREHOUSE. Portwest is delighted to see our customers experiencing the full benefits of our investment into these state of the art management systems. We plan to roll out warehouse automation to all of our new warehouses by 2030.
