TEXPEL™ SPLASH ECO was developed to offer an eco-conscious waterproof finish, COMPLETELY FREE OF PFAS (per-and polyfluoroalkylated substance). After extensive wear trials, our team have developed Texpel Eco splash, which offers the same exceptional water and dirt repellency as traditional water resistant treatments, keeping wearers dry and comfortable whilst being kinder to the environment. This begins with selecting high-quality, durable materials that can withstand repeated use and laundering. We then subject these materials to rigorous testing, including stress tests, abrasion resistance, and colorfastness assessments, to guarantee they maintain their integrity over time. Additionally, we implement eco-conscious finishes that enhance durability without compromising environmental standards. By prioritising durability and sustainability in our design and testing phases, we significantly extend the life cycle of our garments, thereby minimising waste and promoting sustainability.
