In 2022, Portwest achieved Silver in Ecovadis, meaning Portwest are in the top 25% of companies using Ecovadis for external assurance of their sustainability practices. Ecovadis is the world’s most trusted business sustainability rating platform, providing an evaluation of the integration of sustainability into our business and management systems through consideration of policies, actions and results.

Since May 2021, Portwest has been committed to the UN Global Compact corporate responsibility initiative and its principles in the areas of human rights, labor, environment, and anti-corruption.
