RIS-3279-TOM (GO/RT 3279) RIS-3279-TOM (GO/RT 3279) is a high visibility standard that only applies to the rail industry in the UK. The certification is based on the European standard ISO 20471:2013. The purpose is to ensure that rail workers on or near tracksides are sufficiently visible to trains and other vehicles approaching at high speed.
