Layer-on-layer cladding increases overall protection By using multiple layers of clothing, the overall protection can be higher as each layer helps to absorb and dissipate the energy from an electric arc. This provides better insulation against heat and reduces the risk of the inner layer breaking up or causing burns. In MASCOT® ACCELERATE MULTISAFE we have developed the products with a focus on a high level of comfort, but also a high degeree of safety. We have therefore reinforced a large proportion of the products with double-layer material in the most exposed areas to increase arc flash protection and achieve a significantly higher ELIM and ATPV value in these areas.

For the very best protection, it is recommended that you use layers that have been tested together.
