HexArmor SR-X 8180 Structural Firefighting Gloves
Sizing Guidelines Using the New 2018 NFPA Sizing Convention A notable addition to the NFPA 1971 Standard on Protective Ensembles for Structure Firefighting and Proximity Firefighting, 2018 Edition, involves mandatory numerical sizing with a designation of normal or wide. There are 7 numerical sizes required, from 64-82, shown below, along with optional sizes. Proper size and fit is determined by measuring the length of your index finger in millimeters to reach the closest numerical size. A measurement across the top of your knuckles will give you the corresponding width. In the example below, the glove size would be 76N.
