Gloves and other PPE are designed to protect workers from a wide variety of hazards and workplace dangers. It is estimated that simply wearing gloves reduces the risk of hand injury for construction workers by as much as 60 percent. However, it’s impossible to protect workers who refuse to wear their PPE.
