Schuyler® Flash protection kit is designed to protect workers from thermal energy releases up to 43 cal/cm² which meets NFPA 70E - Hazard Risk Category 4 (PPE) . The Schuyler® kit includes: Hood with Arc Shield, Arc Flash Jacket, Bib Coveralls, Hard Hat, Shield Mounting Accessories, Class 2 Rated Gloves with Leather Protectors and Gear Bag. • Schuyler® Arc Hood System Two layers of Ultrasoft 9oz. over 13oz. fabric. The system includes proprietary designed 0.078” thick molded arc shield made of polycarbonate material with special absorbers for maximum impact and thermal protection. Visible Light Transmission (VLT) of 43% to 55% provides high mass impact protection and 99.99% UV protection plus anti-fog coating. • Schuyler® Jacket Three layers of Ultrasoft 7.3oz. over 6oz. over 7.3oz, 35” long with zipper and Velcro front closure. Available from Small to XL. • Schuyler® Bib Coverall 3-Layer of Ultrasoft 7.3 oz over 6.0 oz over 7.3 oz, available from small to large sizes. • Schuyler® Glove Kit Kit includes Rubber Insulating Gloves Class 2 rated 17,000 volts (14” long), Leather Protector Glove (12” long) and cotton bag.
