Supplied Air Respirators (SARs)

What is a Supplied Air Respirator? Supplied Air Respirators deliver breathable air to the worker from a clean air source. The air can come from a variety of sources including high-pressure compressors, low-pressure pumps, or bottled air cylinders. In addition, Supplied Air Respirators can be configured with a variety of head tops including loose-fitting hoods, loose-fitting facepieces, helmets or tight-fitting masks (full and half). Supplied Air Respirator Advantages There are many advantages to utilizing a Bullard Supplied Air Respirator System, including the ability to protect against a wide array of contaminants without any filter cartridges to purchase or replace. In addition, most Bullard Supplied Air Respirators can be configured with heating/cooling tubes to increase worker comfort by as much as 40º Fahrenheit (22º Celsius). Finally, Bullard offers a large selection of available head tops, including loose-fitting hoods and helmets, that do not require fit testing.
