Powered Air-Purifying Respirators (PAPRs)
What is a Powered Air-Purifying Respirator? Powered Air-Purifying Respirators (PAPRs) use a battery-powered fan to draw in ambient air through filter cartridges. The purified air is then delivered to the user’s hood, helmet, or facepiece via a breathing tube. A flow indicator is provided to check that there is an adequate volume of air available to the wearer prior to use. There are many different PAPR configurations available to best meet the needs of your working environment.
